Leo F. Johnson

Leo Johnson is the Co-Founder of Sustainable Finance Ltd, sustainability advisers to over 50 leading banks and corporate, and a partner in PwC's Sustainability and Climate Change team. He is a Visiting Fellow of the Smith School of Enterprise & Environment at Oxford, and hosts the BBC World Show "Down to Business" on ground-breaking social enterprises, as well as "Develop or Die? ", BBC World's current series exposing the challenges and dilemmas of growth in emerging markets.
 

Leo's specialisation is making business sense of sustainability, identifying environmental and social megatrends and the risks and opportunities they create for business leaders. Leo Johnson is the winner of the IFC Corporate Award for his work around the Equator Principles. He is the Host and Technical Adviser to the FT Sustainable Banking Awards, and Sustainability Adviser to the Prix Pictet, the leading prize for Photography in the area of sustainability, for which Kofi Annan is the patron. He has commented and written guest columns for the BBC, CNN, CNBC, the Financial Times, and Wall Street Journal. A graduate of New College, Oxford, Leo has an M.Sc. in Resource & Environmental Economics from UCL (London's Global University) and an MBA from INSEAD. He lives in Queens Park, London with his Afghan wife and two girls.
