
Ron Kunitzky founded Geyser Marketing Group in 2003 as a result of his unwavering belief in the power of mutually beneficial strategic affiliations and partnerships - "Partnership Marketing" for short. He has years of experience in leadership roles for world class international companies in Canada as well as in the United Kingdom - he served as head of Partnership Marketing for AOL UK and grew AOL UK's partnership marketing business from 20% to nearly 60% of the overall contribution to subscriber acquisition in just two years from 2001 to 2003. Ron has been able to parlay this expertise into a marketing company that has the ability to build a brand's social and commercial capital. Over the years, Geyser Marketing Group has successfully partnered brands in many verticals including finance, eco-friendly, health & eye-care, publishing, technology, e-commerce, retail and B2B services, and as a result having created incremental streams of revenue which have generated millions of dollars of growth for clients. Apart from partnership marketing, Ron has also extensive knowledge of sales, account management, business development, brand licensing and channel marketing, including working on programs with companies like Wal-Mart, Dell Computer, Carphone Warehouse, Hewlett Packard and Choice Hotels who have all reaped the benefits from the strategic programs that he has created. Over the last few years Ron has worked with leading national and international companies that include 1-800-GOT-JUNK?, Coastal Contacts, Aeroplan, Linens N Things, Ubisoft, The ALDO Group, NASDAQ OMX, Roscan, Export Development Canada, Cardinal Watches, Track It Back, DiscoverWare and MBNA-Bank of America and has helped them generate incremental revenue, acquire new customers, open new marketing and distribution channels and add value to their existing propositions. As a public speaker, Ron is in great demand and can be regularly heard speaking passionately on his areas of expertise at various seminars and events from leading associations. He recently keynoted the Siemens Hearing Instruments Sales Conference as well as Google Wireless Day in April 2011. He has also keynoted the Meredith Corporation Partnership Marketing Summit in New York in November 2010 and was a speaker at the eMetrics Marketing Optimization Summit in Toronto in April 2010. He offers his expertise in Partnership Marketing in the form of fully customized keynote, half day and full day onsite seminars. This means that each program is company specific and created specifically to focus on any Partnership Marketing issues or challenges pertinent to the individual situation. Ron is the author of "Partnership Marketing - How to Grow Your Business and Transform Your Brand through Smart Collaboration" which was published in December 2010 by Wiley. He has also been featured in several publications including The Sponsorship Report, Marketing Magazine, The Advisor and Les Affairs. He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Concordia University, a Graduate Certificate in Marketing from McGill University, and is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing in the United Kingdom and is a B2B Council Member of the Canadian Marketing Association. In his spare time, Ron likes to spend time with his wife, travel the world, play drums in his band and attend his weekly recreational ice hockey game.
